Chloe studied BA Theatre and Performance at the University of Surrey, after which she established Novo Editing, working for new and established authors as well as publishing companies.
She provides not only line editing, but also detailed critiques of each author’s work.
In addition, Chloe offers a service to students, looking for proofreading and editing for dissertations and essays.
The ‘Escaping the Past’ Series features two brothers and their two friends, and tells of how they all find love when they’re least expecting it.
Individually, they all have a past… whether it be something they regret doing themselves, or something that haunts them. The women they fall in love with also have histories… some more traumatic and damaging than others.
Through love, they all discover that, by escaping the past, they can look to the future, and share the joys and triumphs of being one big, happy, loving family.
“Chloe gave me invaluable advice and detailed edits on my first (and subsequent) books, which I was then able to present to a publisher and gain a contract. I know I wouldn’t have been able to achieve this without her input.”
Suzie Peters, author of the ‘Escaping the Past’ series
“Chloe’s work on my novel proved to be sympathetic and understanding of the genre, and my style of writing. Her report was useful and well-argued, and she was happy to discuss elements of my novel, and my writing. I’ve definitely seen an improvement in my skills since working with her.”
Wendy Lawrance, author of ‘Yours Always’ (released December 2017)
“We’ve used Chloe’s services on several occasions and have always found her editorial judgement to be sound and sensitive. She understands the publishing process, is thorough in her work and is a pleasure to deal with.”
